Clifford E. Clark

Clifford E. Clark, 77, of Keokuk, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at his home in Keokuk.

Clifford was born on September 19, 1944, in Montrose, Iowa, the son of James A. and Clara (Crowson) Clark. On January 21, 1985, he was united in marriage to Peggy Redinbo in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives.

Clifford was a member of God’s Way Christian Center and was employed at Goodyear in Keokuk for twenty-seven years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed the great outdoors, including hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He was a very social person and could often be found having a few cold beers with friends or watching crime shows or the Price is Right. He was known for being helpful and dependable and would do anything for anyone.

Clifford is survived by his wife Peggy of Keokuk; his son Brandon (Jessie) Clark of Keokuk; his daughter Jessi Clark of Keokuk; five grandsons: Kendall (Tayla Scott), Oryan, Jaxon and Jalen Clark and Dravin Sutton; honorary grandson Dom Davis; two great-grandsons: Khyson and Krew Clark; two sisters: Wanda Cannon and Charlotte Bunton; two brothers: Jim (Sharon Sangster) and Elmer Clark; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Maxine Sims, Fern Coby and Clyde Clark.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk, with burial to follow at Keokuk National Cemetery. The funeral will be live-streamed at www.dejongsfuneralhome.com. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 7 pm, with family meeting friends from 5 to 7 pm.
