John Shoup Obituary

John Shoup, 62, of Keokuk, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Unity Point Health in Keokuk.
John was born on September 1, 1957, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Leland and Margie (Cravens). A longtime resident of Keokuk, John worked odd jobs throughout his life. He collected stuffed animals, and enjoyed spending his free time playing Bingo and watching wrestling on TV. John had a wonderful personality, and was loved by all. His friends and family will miss him dearly.
John is survived by his sister Opal (James) Guess, two nephews: Brian (Tonya) Guess and Tony (Jill) Guess, his aunt Zelda Hartman, and his uncle Harry R. Shoup. Other survivors include several cousins.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date at Williamstown Cemetery in Williamstown, Missouri.
