Marian Rose Riter

Marian Rose Riter, 95, of Plant City, Florida, formerly a long-time resident of Keokuk, was born on October 13, 1927, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2023.

She had been a very active member of First Baptist Church in Keokuk and was currently a member of First Baptist Church Plant City, and attended First Presbyterian Church of Plant City. She loved her family dearly, and was an active church member.

She was preceded in death by husband, Vernon Max Riter.

She is survived by daughter, Janice Riter; granddaughter, Jennifer Carter; and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 12 at 4:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church of Plant City, 404 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida, where the family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa at a later date.
