Martha (Shoup) Lords

Martha Shoup Lords went home to be with the Lord on June 2nd, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born on May 14th, 1963 to the late Harold and Gladys Shoup. She was a longtime resident of Keokuk.

Martha enjoyed serving her church and working on crafts.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, Larissa Howes Oliver; her brothers, Harold E. Shoup, Robert E. Shoup, Richard L. Shoup; and sister, Eva Shoup Manganello.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Tabitha Strohm (Steve) of Muscatine, Patricia Howes of Des Moines, and Crystal Lozano of Berlin, NH; brothers, Paul Shoup (Cindy) of Hope, AR, and Joseph Shoup of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Patricia Clement (Ron) of Como, NC, and Zelda Brown of Jefferson City, MO; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The family has decided to send all donations to the Keokuk Humane Society in honor of Martha. Donations can be sent to the Keokuk Humane Society at 1124 Johnson Street, Keokuk, IA 52632.

Flowers can be sent to the family at 1902 Sterneman Blvd., Muscatine, IA 52761.

No services will be held at this time.
