Terry Henke Obituary

Terry L. Henke, 72, of Keokuk, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home in Keokuk.

Terry was born on December 17, 1948, the son of the late Ken Henke, Jr. and Jean (Phrimmer) Henke. He graduated from Drake University and went on to own and operate Henke Hardware in Keokuk for many years. Terry enjoyed working on cars with his son, Logan, building race cars, dirt track racing, and watching Nascar, always cheering on Dale Earnhardt.

Terry is survived by two daughters: Tara (Russ) Smith of Ankeny, Iowa, and Kristen (Nick) Zonona of Des Moines, Iowa; his son Logan Henke of Keokuk; and three granddaughters: Emma and Lily Smith of Ankeny and Isabella Zonona of Des Moines.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later date.
