Tylor Gray

Tylor Gray, 13, of Keokuk died at 10:51 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at University Hospital in Iowa City.

He was born on September 21, 1997 in Keokuk, the son of Victor DeWayne Gray and Deborah Ann Jefferson.

Tylor was a lifelong resident of Keokuk. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Keokuk and attended Keokuk Middle School completing the 7th grade.

Tylor is survived by his mother: Debbie Jefferson of Keokuk; his father Victor DeWayne Gray of Keokuk; grandparents: Victor and Esther Gray of Keokuk; two brothers: James Burgess and John Jefferson of Keokuk; one sister: Melissa Mortimer of Ft. Madison, IA. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles to include John Carmen and Karen Groves and many more relatives and adopted family.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Sandra Lynn Burgess; and grandparents:

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 25 at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers located at 917 Blondeau St. in Keokuk with Pastor John Heath officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk.

Visitation is from 11 am until the time of service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to purchase a head stone.
